Thank you for visiting my website. I am an award winning, juried quilt artist and have been passionate about quilting for the past 34 years. After all these years of quilting as a hobby, I decided it was time that I work in a field that I love - quilting. I do all the work myself--from beginning to end and enjoy every step of it.
I love designing quilts and working with fabric to create custom art quilts for you, your home and office, to be enjoyed for years. Modern to traditional, just let me know. Quilts rapidly become family heirlooms.
All my quilts are washable - gentle cycle. Air dried is best (out of direct sunlight), but they can be put in the dryer on low heat. All fabric is pre-washed, prior to being made into your custom quilt. Upon completion of each quilt, (except T-shirt quilts) it is washed and ready for you to enjoy!

Wedding Guest Signature Blocks: (as seen in the above left photo and below)
The latest rage for weddings are custom designed wedding guest signature blocks to match your wedding decor and style...modern and contemporary, coastal, beachy, country, elegant or glitz! I will design a block to coordinate with your wedding colors or to match your home decor. Guest books are relics of the past! Just like an autograph album, but in lovely fabrics, a piece of art to be enjoyed for years. Quilts rapidly become family heirlooms.
I will consult with you about your wedding colors and block design, fabricate your blocks, and prior to your wedding date I will mail you the number of blocks you require for your guests, including permanent pens for signing and additional blocks in case of mishaps.
Your guests sign their name and sentiments on a signature block in permanent pen at your reception. The fabric strip for the signature is stabilized on the back, for ease of signing.
Typically, one couple signs the same block in the white fabric strip (as shown above), singles sign their own block. After your wedding, you mail your blocks back to me and I incorporate the blocks into a custom art quilt specifically designed for you to enjoy for years.
Based on workload, finished quilts are returned to you in about eight weeks from receipt.
Guest signature block quilts are also very popular for anniversaries, retirements, birthdays, going away parties, sweet sixteen, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, graduations, etc.

Please note that the photos show only individual blocks made up, that have not been fabricated into a quilt yet. They are missing borders, binding and custom quilting. I will be posting a completed 50th Anniversary quilt wall hanging soon.
Signature Block Quilt Pricing:
$60 initial fee plus $14 per block, based on finished block size up to 6 1/2" square (similar to above design in photo). Larger sized blocks and more intricate designs are priced accordingly.
Pricing includes design consultation, choice of colors, prepared signature blocks, extra blocks in case of mishaps, permanent pens for signing, fabrication of quilt using premium 100% cotton and cotton batting, hand guided machine free motion quilting and double fold binding hand stitched to back and shipping of blocks prior to event. One block will also be hand penned commemorating the event, in your choice of wording.
75% is due upon signing the contract, 25% is due upon completion of your quilt, prior to mailing.
Pricing example: 125 guests, you would need an estimated 70 blocks x $14 = $980 + $60= $1,040 total. This is based on a three pieced block up to 6 1/2" square similar to the above photo. Approximate finished quilt size would be 70" x 50".
Borders are optional and are priced at $45 for a 2 1/2" wide border surrounding quilt.
Due to the time it takes to prepare the blocks, please contact me well in advance of your event date.
