FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):
How long does it take to have my guest signature blocks made? After a design consultation via phone and/or email, I will send you photos of fabric and designs for you to consider. Once your design is agreed upon and the contract is signed, you must send me a 75% deposit (certified check or PayPal). Then, I begin construction of the blocks. Once the blocks are completed, I will mail them to you with permanent pens. Please allow about three weeks. This time frame fluctuates, based on my workload.
Following your special event, you return the signed blocks to me and I construct your custom signature art quilt. The completed quilt will be returned to you in approximately eight weeks. Again, this is based on my current workload. The 25% balance is due upon completion.
Can you make me a cradle and a matching doll quilt, they are odd sizes? YES, just give me the dimensions that you would like the finished quilts to be and I will quote you a price.
Can I pick out the quilt pattern for you to make and the fabric? YES. Please call for pricing.
Can I add photos to any quilt that you make? YES. Just have your local Staples or Kinkos do the photo transfer for you on a washable fabric and I will include it in your custom art quilt.
Can you make me a small wall hanging for a special event? YES. Just give me the details and I will do the rest. The heart wall hanging on my website header and on the Custom Memory Quilts tab was made to thank the family who's son/father so generously donated his heart to my husband...the gift of life. Needless to say, my family and I are avid supporters of organ donation.
Are you a registered organ donor? If not, please consider it. For more information or to sign up to be an organ donor please go to www.donatelifeflorida.org. Regardless of what state you live in, this site will work.
